Clinical Approach

Colby provides support to late adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, and major life transitions. She has extensive experience working with individuals impacted by adverse childhood experiences, including family substance use, incarceration, poverty, and other forms of early adversity, and enjoys helping clients process these experiences from a place of safety and growth. Colby also works with individuals at all stages of substance use recovery who are committed to their recovery journey, as well as those experiencing acute mental health challenges. While these are areas of particular experience, she welcomes the opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and presentations, approaching each therapeutic relationship with openness, curiosity, and a commitment to meeting clients where they are.
