Emily Farr, MA
Clinical Experience
Emily Farr is a compassionate therapist with a passion for supporting children and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, transgender and identity issues, and marriage and relationship challenges. She has obtained specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder, and integrates this evidence-based approach with care and sensitivity. Emily’s calm, supportive presence empowers clients to engage in the often-challenging therapeutic process at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of their needs.
Grounded in a person-centered approach, Emily values empathy, collaboration, and authenticity in her work. She integrates mindfulness practices with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build awareness, challenge unhelpful patterns, and foster emotional growth. Recognizing that each person is unique, she tailors her approach to meet individual goals and strengths, helping clients cultivate resilience, self-compassion, and meaningful change in their lives.
