Olivia Lewis, MS

Clinical Experience

Before obtaining her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Olivia worked as a resident assistant and peer-support group leader at Purdue University. These experiences taught her about the unique challenges faced by college students and further solidified her passion in supporting others through times of need.

Throughout her time in graduate school at University of Massachusetts Boston, Olivia worked as an intern at the Academy of the Pacific Rim Public Charter School. There, she worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and identity development. Olivia brings a warm, relational nature to therapy that meets clients where they are at while also empowering them toward meaningful change.

Clinical Approach

Olivia supports individuals who are experiencing anxiety and depression, and has a particular passion for supporting those within the LGBTQIA+ community. She believes that everyone has the potential for growth and change, and is committed to creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and collaboration to aid her clients along their personal journeys.
Understanding that everyone’s paths are different, Olivia tailors her approach to each client to meet their needs, with a consistent person-centered lens. She integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Olivia strongly believes in the healing power of the outdoors, creativity, and artistic expression. She is eager to join you outside on walk-and-talk sessions and welcomes arts and crafts into the therapeutic space.
